August, where did you go?? I still remember very well changing my calendar at work from July to August like it happened yesterday. And now we’re already on the first week of September. August, August, August; This month has been filled with late night adventures, a few checks on the bucket list and appreciation. Here are the highlights and faves of the month:
August 7, 2015 | Golden Fifty
My mom turned 50 today! Sad to be away but still happy cause I was on FaceTime with her during the party. She looks half her age!
August 12, 2015 | Everyone is an artist
Discovered that I could actually draw patterns from the top of my head 😀
August 15, 2015 | Inked
A huge check on the bucket list! “La vie est Belle” means “Life is Beautiful” in French. Make sure to keep an eye on My First Ink Experience blog post…
August 16, 2015 | Walking the streets of Wynwood
Witnessed one of the most beautiful sunset in the streets of Wynwood. Stunning how every sunset is different from the other.
August 19, 2015 | Friends from New York
The best seafood paella and a few bottle of beers on a Wednesday night.
August 26, 2015 | Stress Fix
Miami Beach, our hideaway. Where we straighten out our tangled thoughts and freely let the waves wash the stress away.
August 27, 2015 | Star of the Month – Nominee
All the hard work paid off! Definitely increased my self confidence and motivated me to keep doing better.
August 29, 2015 | The birth of BellaAngeles.com
It’s official! My blog was born today. A massive check on the bucket list 😀 Read more…
August 30, 2015 | Pancakes and Sunrise
With no sleep, #APT101PH journeyed to IHOP at 5 in the morning for our pancakes fix. The rain was pouring as Tropical Strom Erika was already making landfall in Miami, but nope; that didn’t stop us… *still drooling over IHOP*
When the rain stopped, we were blessed to witness this breath-taking sunrise at the beach.
August, you went by like the wind but yet you were wonderful. Thank you for leaving me with the following thoughts:
- Stay Strong. Life is rough, but sometimes you need to take it easy. You need to keep telling yourself that you can accomplish your goals and that you have enough strength and intuition to overcome the obstacles in your life.
- Relax. Stop worrying. Everything is going to be okay.
- Appreciate. Stop taking people for granted. Treat them how they deserve to be treated.
Now that we have welcomed the ber months, it’s only a few weeks left before my program here in Miami Beach concludes, but much closer to coming back home to the Philippines! 😀
September, I’m ready for you!
With love,
