Pyunkang Yul rejects the notion that cosmetics are simply another shopping item. Instead, they believe they are a means of protecting the skin. As such, they have opted to remove all unnecessary chemical substances from their products to utilize only the minimum,safest components to protect and provide respite to your tired and irritated skin.
After over a month of using these products, both during my day and night skincare routine, I can finally share with you my #HonestlyBella review. Let’s get into it!

Pyunkang Yul Basic Line
Product: Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner

- Provides intense hydration. Simply patting your skin will result in a gummy sensation in which the skin will react with a high level of elasticity!
- A viscous, dense texture that absorbs quickly into the skin for a dewy yet smooth and clean finish
Essence type of toners are honestly what I prefer the most. I feel like they bring more nourishing to the skin than regular toners. So it wasn’t hard to love this Essence Toner by Pyunkang Yul. I did my research and found that the particles of Milk Vetch Root Extract is much smaller, and it revitalizes and nourishes even deeply compared to the ones of purified water. No wonder why even if using this product on it’s own, I noticed how bouncy my skin is. I would definitely repurchase this essence toner.

- Barberry root extracts work to reduce the temperature of your skin to soothe sensitive, irritated skin
- Olive oil offers an intense hydration effect and prevents your skin from becoming dry
The texture of this serum is thick like creamy milk, but it is easily absorbed by the skin. A little drop goes a long way and it leaves my skin moisturized. I like to use less drops during the day, and more at night. I love how much my skin has improved, I can definitely tell that it’s much healthier and it balanced the dry and oily areas of my skin. I found the dropper a bit hard to work with when trying to get more product so I can do it in one swift. Other than that, this serum did a great job! I highly recommend this for dry skin types.

This soft yet thick consistency cream melts onto skin beautifully. I would use a clean spatula to scoop an appropriate amount and would also apply this on my neck, elbows and knees. Anywhere that needs extra moisture! Again, a little of this product can go a long way. When I use this in the morning, my skin is hydrated and has that glossy (but not oily) kind of effect. It has shea butter and macadamia seed oil, providing long-lasting moisture all day long.
Overall #HonestlyBella Review of Pyunkang Yul Basic Line
- Fragrance and Color Free: What I liked the most about this line, is that there is no fragrance at all.
- Minimum Ingredients: The brand only uses the minimum number of ingredients. They have removed unnecessary chemicals to minimize skin trouble causes. The average number of ingredients in the Pyunkang Yul Basic Line is 12. Other cosmetics have 30-60 ingredients general. That can be really overwhelming for the skin!
- Effective Nourishment: The natural ingredients offer deep moisture and nourishment
- Brings Life to Dull-looking Skin: These products enhances moisture for dry and lifeless skin, making it look more radiant, bouncy and overall healthy
