Style Sunday: The Short Girl’s Jumpsuit

I wasn’t into jumpsuits years ago because my Mom and siblings would disapprove me wearing it because as per them, jumpsuits make me look much shorter than I already am, so are jeans and maxi dresses.

For this reason, I grew up wearing knee-length skirts, shorts and pretty much anything that gives the impression that I have long legs. Funny that at such a young age, my height was already an issue – an incurable flaw for me back then. I used to have my brother pull my legs while I hold on to the headboard of the bed. So much effort… but that didn’t change anything 😀

But now we’re at 2015, I’ve learned to embrace my short being and made heels and wedges my best friend ever since.

I was at the mall one day and this floral jumpsuit immediately caught my eye. I was hesitant at first in buying it, telling myself that this is probably gonna be too long for me. #ShortGirlProblems. But lucky me! The length was just perfect! Major thanks to the garter at the hem. Ever since then, I have always been on a scavenger hunt for jumpsuits with gartered hems. This was the perfect gift of the fashion industry to short girls like me! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! 

Now, I’m constantly on the hunt for the perfect length maxi dress. I know it’s out there somewhere, waiting for me to check it out the store 😀
